Our Mission
At Uni-Hire, our mission is to bridge the gap between education and professional success by connecting University Students to relevant and meaningful employment opportunities while they pursue their studies. We believe that every student possesses unique talents and potential, and by empowering them with practical experience and exposure to the professional world, we aim to shape tomorrow's leaders and innovators.
Uni-Hire was founded in July 2023 by Ronald Clancy in Edinburgh, Scotland and sprung from two personal experiences:
The first was his own difficulty finding relevant work opportunities while studying at the University of Aberdeen in the late 2000s.
The second experience was while working in Berlin as a Country Manager hiring a "deadly" group of Irish Working Students and their incredible work ethic, positivity, adaptability and eagerness to learn.
This led to the realisation of the untapped opportunity and the potential benefits of providing students with greater access to relevant paid work experience and employers to their talent.
